WHY PILATES?
Pilates is like a tonic for the body and mind. It benefits everyone, at all stages of life not just the sports fanatic, in fact most people who traditionally don’t exercise warm to Pilates as a gentle way of taking care of themselves.

It is not a sweaty exercise, and therefore ideal for the office environment. It creates a sense of refreshed, well-being, through an effective breathing process that helps increase circulation and decrease stress.

A Pilates programme can gradually change the way you look. It can reshape, realign and rebalance you into better posture. It assists to correct postural weaknesses generally and can have a substantial effect on the back, neck and shoulders. This realignment and inner strengthening can improve your chosen sport or dramatically decrease your chances of postural aches and strains.

Improved tone and suppleness through gentle stretches and core muscle exercise creates a longer leaner figure. The exercise is slow and controlled, working to strengthen and coordinate your body, specifically targeting abdominals.
